Jesús David Mejía Melo is an experienced Health and Safety professional with a background in Environmental and Fisheries Engineering. He brings a strong combination of technical expertise, environmental awareness, and practical site experience to his role.

Since relocating to Malta, he has worked in high-risk environments within the firefighting systems sector, developing solid expertise in hazard identification, risk assessment, and strict compliance with health and safety regulations. His hands-on experience on-site enables him to proactively promote safe working practices and ensure operational safety standards are consistently met.

With previous experience as an  Engineer, Jesús has contributed to environmental monitoring, regulatory compliance, and food safety inspections, giving him a well-rounded and multidisciplinary approach to Health and Safety management.

He has further strengthened his profile through specialized training in Water, Sanitation and Hygiene (WASH), as well as food safety and environmental management. His key strengths include risk management, site inspections, compliance assurance, and fostering a strong safety culture.
