Steven Treeby is a geographer with experience in environmental monitoring, environmental management, construction site management, Environmental Impact Assessment, traffic data collection, agriculture, auditing, and compliance. He is also a Health and Safety Practitioner with substantial experience in risk management, emergency response, fire safety and auditing.

Steven joined En-Sure in 2011, after graduating from the University of Malta with a BA (Hons) degree in Geography and has since played a key role in the environmental monitoring services offered by the company. In 2014, he completed a Diploma in Social Studies (Occupational Health and Safety) at the University of Malta. Steven has also acquired competence in first aid and firefighting.

Steven advises management and site operatives on eco-friendly construction practices and workplace safety. His duties involve site inspections, monitoring, and reporting on operational, environmental, and health and safety aspects. He also oversees noise, vibration, air quality, traffic, and land use assessments.

At En-Sure, Steven has contributed to various projects as an Environmental Site Manager or part of monitoring teams. Notable projects include City Gate & Parliament, Grand Hotel Verdala, University

Campus Hub, Enemed fuel-filling depot, Shoreline, Metropolis, the Electrogas power station, and the Quad Towers.

Steven is certified in environmental and occupational noise and vibration measurement, holds IEMA practitioner membership, and is on the Occupational Health and Safety Authority’s Competent Person Register. He plays a pivotal role in En-Sure’s health and safety program, ensuring compliance with regulations. Steven is pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in Health and Safety alongside his environmental monitoring career. He has a passion for travel and football.
