Health and safety project supervision at Sandy Yacht Marina, Ta’ Xbiex

The Sandy Yacht Marina at Ta’ Xbiex was upgraded with the installation of four pontoons for the berthing of boats, as well as related infrastructure. En-Sure was appointed by the client to provide health and safety services during the design and construction stages of the Project, as required by local occupational health and safety legislation.

En-Sure was engaged to prepare a health and safety plan and to open a health and safety file prior to commencement of works. The health and safety plan set out the health and safety obligations and arrangements relevant to the project. En-Sure also provided health and safety induction training to all of the site’s workers. Weekly inspections were carried out to monitor the works and practical recommendations were made to the client and contractors employed on the project for any further mitigation considered necessary.
