Hazardous property assessment

En-Sure provides comprehensive waste classification assessment services for soils and rock originating from excavation activities, in strict accordance with the Waste Framework Directive 2008/98/EC.

Our assessment process begins with the sampling of the material for chemical testing. En-Sure collaborates with ERA to establish a representative sampling method, ensuring accurate analysis. Subsequently, we utilize our database and software tools to process and analyse the chemical test results, aligning our classification process with the most current version of the Regulation (EC) No 1272/2008, classification, labelling and packaging of chemical substances and mixtures (CLP). Our specialists are dedicated to maintaining accuracy and adherence to regulatory standards throughout this process.

This classification enables us to identify any hazardous components and properties (HP1 to HP15) present in the material, facilitating informed decision-making regarding its safe handling and disposal.

The outcome of our assessment is crucial in determining the most suitable fate for the material, prioritizing the recycling or reuse of uncontaminated materials, especially in public spaces. Through these efforts, we contribute to promoting safe and sustainable practices in waste management and resource utilization.
